Tool Design.
A.B.U. Engineering’s in house design facility has the ability to take your tooling requirements from product conception and development, through to tool design and manufacture.
Our dedicated team has experience designing injection mold tools, special purpose machines, precision jigs and fixtures and reverse engineering of spare parts. A.B.U. will be able to assist with any design requirements you may have.
Injection Moulds.
Thin-Wall Containers: Over the past two decades A.B.U. has refined
its design and toolmaking approach to thin-wall container tools and delivers high end, fast cycling, multi-cavity tools with IML capabilities. With an understanding of robust design and simple maintenance requirements, A.B.U. supplies leading companies in manufacturing worldwide.
Caps and Closure Tools: A.B.U. Engineering has been designing and manufacturing closure tools for the Australian market for over forty years, including single cavity prototype tools and multi-cavity stack moulds.
Precision Diagnostic Tools: ABU continues to work closely with one of the world’s most innovative manufacturers of scientific diagnostic components, building complex and intricate tools that demand high precision and delicate manufacturing processes.
Special Purpose Fixtures and Machines.
A.B.U. Engineering designs and builds task specific machines that can easily be integrated into current production lines and processes. These machines are designed in consultation with clients and are manufactured in-house to their requirements.
A.B.U. Engineering also designs and manufactures precision work-holding fixtures to suit CNC machines and robot welding cells.
Refurbishment & Repair.
To maximise performance, limit downtime and prolong the life span of a tool, regular servicing and refurbishment is required. A.B.U. offers in house refurbishment and maintenance to existing tools.
Adjusting wall sections, shut-offs and alignment, fixing flashing, venting or ejection issues are all covered by our thorough servicing schedule.
Spare Parts & Reverse Engineering.
A.B.U. Engineering has manufactured and supplied a variety of spare components and change parts. A.B.U. can supply you with all your tooling requirements and can manufacture from a supplied drawing or reverse engineering a sample component.
